Deboning For the First Time

Simmered sea breem for lunch. I can no longer not have rice for main meals. Yesterday I had lots and lots of sashimi for dinner and was hungry the whole night and ended up eating chips and chocolate. As if that wasn’t enough, I started craving for peanut butter cups which explains the matcha butter cups in the middle of the night.

This is the first time I’ve handled a whole a fish. I was really nervous at first because it was just staring at me. And it was slimy. And scaly. But I took a deep breath and sliced it like a samurai would it’s opponent.

I love new experiences (enriching ones that is) and I love reaching new milestones. It’s what I live for, really. I will never turn into a master overnight, but as long as I’ve learnt something, I consider it a win.
